Voltage is Milwaukee’s longest-running teen open mic. Youth ages 13-19 are encouraged to share their poems, story excerpts and music. Poetry slams are held monthly; some are themed, some are cash challenges, and some are qualifiers for the Milwaukee BNV Team. The open mic immediately follows each slam and all skill levels, perspectives, styles and voices are welcome!
